I’m Coming Up

Friday, April 24th, 2009

Whoah. It’s been a while, right?

That’s what happens when you work eight hours a days, and then use your nights and weekends to start a clothing company just like you always dreamed of.

That’s right, folks. As some of you know, I have been working with my buddy Mitch in starting a clothing company, Come Up Seven. This evening, we’ve launched the blog, and this coming Summer, we will be launching the store, where you all will be able to purchase some fresh gear.

So what does this mean for the Jonny Pockets blog? Well, I’m not entirely sure. If you’ve missed and longed for my posts here, I recommend you bookmark the Come Up Seven blog, as that’s where I will be posting, possibly exclusively, from here on out. But don’t fret, my pets! Because Come Up Seven is a lifestyle brand, it will be representing my lifestyle. And that’s pretty much all I blogged about here, so long story short, you’ll be getting all the same bloggy goodness, you just need to update your bookmarks.

I’ll also be Tweeting from Come Up Seven’s Twitter, so follow me there too!

Wish me luck, and thanks for your support!

The Beginning; Again.

This is not my first blog.

I did the Myspace blog machine for a while in 2003, using it to whore my design work, waiting for the kind comments from my friends to boost my self esteem.

Shortly after that, I created a blog with Blogger, and I updated that one quite frequently with subjects like art, music, design, films, drinking, and subtle hints at my college romances.

I gradually stopped posting on that one and deleted it, creating a new blog that I designed and coded myself. After no more than five posts, I realized that my web development skills were wildly obsolete, and that it was too much work to post in that manner.

Then, Max, I work with him, he introduced me to Wordpress. I had heard of it, but had failed to hop on the bandwagon until now. I like it. I will probably post here for several weeks before I forget about it, discover a new and better way to blog, or merely get sick of constantly seeking internet attention.

Until then, check back often, and feel free to comment. This blog is also formatted to be viewable on an iPhone, so feel free to gander in that manner as well.
